About Me
My Design Process
The user is always at the center of every decision in my design process. My job is to create the ideal experience that the user takes to solve their problem. I love using The Design Thinking Framework to keep the user front and center: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
Empathize
Through user research where I conduct surveys and/or interviews, I learn more about the user’s pain points, wants, and needs.
Define
I analyze and summarize the results from the empathize phase by creating personas and problem statements. I determine the user problems my designs will address.
Ideate
I generate as many design solutions as possible and decide which options to create in the prototype phase.
Prototype
This phase involves the creation of storyboards, paper and digital wireframes, mockups, and low-fidelity and high fidelity prototypes.
Test
I conduct usability studies to test the product ensuring I have solved the user’s problem and uncover any additional pain points that needs improvement.
